Leveraging enterprise tools

What was wrong

The client knew they were sitting on a wealth of powerful information in its existing business tools such as Xero and Salesforce but didn’t have the expertise to access the data.

What we did

We used Postman to discover API endpoints, then built Python code to extract key tables into a mySQL database that could be structured effectively to feed into a Power BI dashboard.

Why it mattered

A cohesive view of leads, deals pipeline, revenue and working capital was finally available in one location, giving fast real time insights and ending the constant wait for PDF reports to land in an inbox.
